Lovers Walk in Cork City, initially a 70s-style home, underwent a bold transformation due to structural issues, requiring comprehensive renovation. The 70’s architecture informed the interior design direction, evoking a playfulness, boldness and dynamism.

Materials merge, compliment and contrast in equal measure, culminating in an eye-catching, colourful and richly calm family home. There is a bold confidence in the saturation and depth of materials and spaces. The challenge was to balance the vibrancy of materials and design with the desired atmosphere and feeling, one of calm and homeliness. The result is a vibrant haven with an unexpected air of serenity.
