Róisín Lafferty Gallery is many things, collectible design gallery, hub of creative talent, inspiring interior and showcase of new collections, representation of world class designers and artists, to name a few, but from the first step inside, it reveals itself as a transportive step into another world, enveloping you in an encompassing and emotive atmosphere, a feast for the senses.

A dream the designer had for many years, for Róisín, it was a natural next step to seek to create a physical embodiment of the atmospheres she creates for her private and commercial clients. Known for her deeply layered and emotive interiors, Róisín Lafferty Gallery is a place that showcases that very essence in an environment of her own making, a space visitors, clients and collectors can visit for inspiration, to discover unique and wonderful furniture, lighting and artwork, and to gain a true understanding of everything the design house stands for.

Róisín emphasises that spaces are about so much more than aesthetics, she says they should make you feel something on a deeper level and appeal to the senses, and the gallery is intended to do just that. It is also the first physical showcase of Róisín’s very own furniture and lighting collections that the designer has been working on in the background for many years.

“Furniture and lighting are the sculptures and jewellery of any interior space. Designing my own pieces has been something I have always planned to do. I design custom elements in all of my projects, but I want my collections to be even more special. Craftsmanship and luxury detailing needed to be world class. I have been designing my own pieces for the past few years and a key reason for the Róisín Lafferty Gallery was to have a designated place to bring them to life. My key challenge to myself was to design pieces that are timeless and not trend led, that I will want to use time and again and that are truly beautiful in their own right, to be used by other people across the world.” Róisín

A key part of Róisín Lafferty work, is the uniqueness of the pieces within the spaces. She and her team have always sourced unique and beautiful artwork, furniture and lighting in their projects and have discovered many wonderful artisans in the process. The gallery aims to bring these artists and brands to a wider audience and to share the beautiful brands and pieces to more than just the private project clients. Curated and selected by Róisín, every piece in the gallery and every piece represented the gallery is carefully chosen because of its beauty, quality and uniqueness. And more importantly the goal for Róisín was to showcase the various works in a residential interior setting, more like a home, showing how they can all sit together, where art, lighting, interiors and furniture collide, rather than showing pieces in abstraction.
